The SPV completes its first custody acquisition
February 15, 2023: Loozy’s regulated SPV has completed its first custody acquisition, buying an exchange-listed micro-cap on the open market as the reserve that will back a stock-token one for one. The position was purchased through Interactive Brokers and is being moved to a fully-paid custody arrangement ahead of any on-chain issuance.
The SPV is the only entity that ever buys the underlying share. It settles the stock fully paid, takes no leverage against it, and parks it with a custodian whose sole job is to hold and, later, attest the settled position. Nothing is minted until that settlement is final.
The acquisition is the first, off-chain step of the engine: buy the shares. It is deliberately unremarkable finance — a listed stock, a regulated broker, a fully-paid custody account — chosen precisely because its failure modes are small and its ownership is verifiable.
Loozy’s position is that backing has to exist before code can trust it. Settling the share first, and only then handing the reserve to a custodian, means the token that eventually mints against it is covered from its very first unit rather than reconciled after the fact.
Interactive Brokers provides regulated execution and custody rails for the listed position; the custodian holds the fully-paid shares and will attest the settled count on-chain when the reserve is confirmed. The launchpad never touches the share at any point in this chain.
Loozy tokenizes exchange-listed micro-caps one for one on Robinhood Chain and turns each ticker into a quote asset for its launchpad. One token is one share, not one dollar; balances never rebase; coverage is shown live and the mint controller cannot exceed it.
The operator is Loozy Labs LLC, a Delaware company, an independent memetic brand not affiliated with any historical firm. The SPV exists to do exactly one thing — acquire and hold the real shares — so that everything on-chain can be checked against a reserve that already settled. NO US PERSONS · UNAUDITED PREVIEW.
